Good Morning, ETHICAL PEEPS...!

Is Morality Dependent on Culture?! This was the major question we had during our debate that allowed a group to be "exempted" from our Chapter 4 Mastery Test on Cultural Relativism. Question is, who are these people and what is the answer to our question...?! The winner of the debate did not depend on the correct answer to the question but rather, how they defended their side. I wanted to clear this first. After finishing the chapter yesterday, you should already know the answer to this question. If you still do not, then you have a major problem in "pleasing" me with your Chapter 4 Essay on "How Can Cultural Norms Aid In The Formation Of Morality?" So, I suggest that whether you take the MT or not, still make sure you know the answer to our debate topic.

Regarding the due date of our Chapter 4 Essay, I have already given my word and said, 12 March 2012. As you know, I do not go back on my word. This is still the due date for our essay, however, those who will start turning it in starting next week will get extra credit for it. Once the week of 05 March comes...no more extra credit will be given...the extra credit only goes out to essays turned in between 27 February to 02 March 2012.

LASTLY, the moment you've all been waiting for...the group exempted from taking the MT on Chapter 4 is the "NO" Group...! CONGRATULATIONS!!! While the others are taking the test tomorrow, you can either take the test as well to help you with your essay or you can begin reading and taking notes on Chapter 6: Conscience & Moral Development...!
