TO ALL MY ETHICAL PEEPS

GREETINGS!

I have a number of QUARTER BREAK HOMEWORK/ASSIGNMENTS for you to work on given the 9 days you are going to "miss" seeing me and/or “miss” being in my class.

FIRST…you have the entire Quarter Break to read, understand, and finish Chapter 2 of our text, Moral Reasoning, pages 32-74…take notes while you read so that you will not forget and waste your time…I am going to immediately give you another Check-Up Quiz on the second part of the chapter upon our return from the break…!

SECOND…make sure to jot down in your Ethics notebook and understand its meanings, all the Vocabulary Terms from the Second Chapter; usually, these are the words that are highlighted and in bold print. Since not all of you did this before when we took up Chapter 1, I am now compelled to check your notebook for your homework on this…!

THIRD…do the following Exercises in your NB: # 2 (page 36); #2 (page 40); #5 (page 48); and #1 (page 66)…!

FOURTH...find any Ethical Issue from the newspaper or online news and print it out or copy it down. Read it very well and make sure you understand it as well. Then, on an A4/F12/DS/TNR, write a reaction-reflection on the issue by stating your personal points regarding it. The catch here is that you have to take a stand on the topic...whether you are for it or against it! You have to use no less than two ideas from either Chapters 1 and 2 of our text to further support your views on the issue...!

LASTLY… on Friday, 14 October 2011, I am going to post a blog for you to respond to. You will have the whole day of Friday and the whole day of Saturday, 15 October 2011, to post your responses. I am going to close that blog on the evening of Saturday between 7:00PM to 11:59PM…!

That’s All Folks! Have a Safe and Wonderful Quarter Break and come back refreshed and ready to Rock-N-Roll for the Second Quarter. Be good, be ethical, and get all your homework/assignments out of the way as soon as possible so that you can enjoy your break to the max…CIAO!!!
